Ben Affleck Helps Boost T-shirt Sales for Pure Detroit

It's pretty obvious: Celebrity product endorsements, whether intentional or not, are good for business.

WWJ reports that Pure Detroit is benefiting from actor Ben Affleck wearing its "Detroit City" t-shirt while taking the ALS Bucket Challenge.

WWJ reports that sales of the t-shirt have spiked.

WWJ writes on its website:

So far Pure Detroit has received 400 orders for the shirt. The company is donating 25 percent of its sales of the shirt to the ALS Association.  3-thousand dollars has been donated so far.
