A heavy downpour of rain during rush hour caused more havoc, flooding roads and causing power outages for 150,000 DTE customers in Metro Detroit.

WWJ reported that Westbound I-95 at I-75 was closed to traffic at 6 p.m. There was flooding along I-75 in both directions at I-94.

There were traffic jams all over Metro Detroit, often doubling or tripling the time it took to make it home. And trees were knocked down and some homes damaged.

The upside? You don't have to water the lawn much these days.
