Detroit News columnist Neal Rubin narrates a nearly 10-minute video on the 97-year lore of The Detroit News building at 615 W. Lafayette.

The video includes interviews with reporters and editors.

Perhaps the most amusing stories come from Editorial Page Editor Nolan Finley, whose tales include one story in which reporters got a live goat from Eastern Market and locked it in the managing editor's office overnight. 

He said the managing editor wasn't so amused, and neither was the goat that made quite a mess.
