For a teen who had so much going for himself, Cass Tech football star Jayru Campbell's life has become a train wreck.
The latest: The Cass Tech senior pleaded guilty Wednesday in Wayne County Circuit Court to a probation violation, The Detroit News reports. He faces sentencing on the matter Tuesday
You might recall Campbell, 17, was sentenced to 60 days for body slamming a school security guard. On Sept. 12, the day he got out of jail, while still on probation, he allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend at the school.
The probation violation is for that incident involving his girlfriend.
But that's not the end.
He still faces criminal charges for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
It's hard to watch a teen with so much potential self-destruct.
