Bob Bshara is charged with murdering wife Jane.

It looked as if the Wayne County jury in the high-profile Bob Bashara murder trial might be able to reach a verdict this week.

That is now a big question mark.

On Monday, on the third day of deliberations, Bashara fell ill and was taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital for tests, Hank Winchester of WDIV reports. Authorities did not disclose the nature of the medical issue.

Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Vonda Evans said that Bashara had to be there if the jury had any questions. So, she sent the jury home around noon on Monday and deliberations were suspended until further notice. Bashara could be in the hospital for a few days, WDIV reports.

Bashara is charged in the murder of his wife Jane Bashara.
