We've often heard about illegal dumping of tires and trash.  But deer carcasses?

Fox 2's Randy Wimbley reports that the remains of more than 100 deer carcasses have been discovered in a field owned by the Michigan Department of Transportation just north of I-94 and west of Telegraph in Taylor.

Eddie Hicks of Taylor tells Fox 2 that he was four-wheeling with his grandson when they came upon of bags of deer carcasses last week. There apparently were more than 150 carcasses, he says.

"All the hunters bring their deer back they get it processed they have it cut up and in this case it was even de-boned a lot of it so that means stripping it down and usually processors don't do that, they either cut into steaks and roast or beef stew and whatever but they don't leave whole rib-cages."

Fox 2 reports that officials have a person of interest in mind, and the city soon plans to clean up the mess. The Taylor Police and the Department of Natural Resources are investigating the matter.
