Ex-Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr
Kevyn Orr must like emergencies.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie named Orr, the ex-emergency manager for Detroit, as as a special counsel to Atlantic City's new emergency manager, Kevin Lavin, a corporate finance attorney who specializes in helping troubled companies, the website, NJ.com reports.
Christie announced on Thursday that he had signed an executive order to install an emergency management team in the financially strapped Atlantic City.
