Just when things were looking great . . .
Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings -- a key player in the Pistons latest surge in the Post-Josh Smith era -- is out for the season, Vincent Goodwill of The Detroit News reports.
An MRI confirmed that he has a full tear of his left Achilles. Jenning injured himself in the third quarter of the Pistons' loss to the Milwaukee Bucks Saturday.
A widespread thought in recent weeks was that the Pistons had what it took to make the playoffs. Without Jennings, who knows?
