It seemed like a very lucky day when the Pistons finally got rid of Josh Smith. Afterwards, the team miraculously started winning.
So it might seem a little strange these days that season ticket-holders, for some games, have tickets with Smith's photo.
Michelle Fikany, a spokesperson for the Pistons, tells Deadline Detroit that the tickets were pre-printed and distributed at the season's start, which explains why Smith is on some of the tickets.
Different players appear on tickets for different games, she added.
