Dan Gilbert keeps grinding out new properties.

Louis Aguilar of the Detroit News reports that Gilbert's Bedrock Real Estate Services, which controls more than 70 downtown properties, plans to build a 10-story apartment structure with ground floor retail at the site of a 19th-century building in downtown's Capitol Park that housed a now-shuttered strip club called The Grind.

The existing building at 1416 Griswold is slated for demolition.
