A gathering at a community hall on Detroit's east side turned deadly early Sunday morning when someone opened fire.
Mike Woolfolk of WXYZ reports that one person was killed and six were injured in the shooting that took place around 4 a.m. inside Chalmers Community Hall in the 9800 block of Chalmers. The reason for the shootingh wasn't immediately clear.
WXYZ reports that the Knights of the Round Table Van and Truck Club rented the hall for the night to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
WXYZ reports that three people are in custody, and police say they aren't looking for anyone else.
