Thieves went on a tear in Ferndale.
Police alerted residents that thieves targeted at least 20 unlocked vehicles, taking money and other items, WXYZ reports. The incidents were believed to have taken place over the weekend.
The station says thefts took place on a number of streets including Chesterfield, Hazelhurst, LaPrarie, Leroy, Marshal, Pearson and Spencer.
