Frank Usher

Fair to say that Frank Lee Usher was a legendary criminal in Detroit back in the day.

Usher, a drug kingpin,  was sentenced to life in prison and went off to Jackson Prison for a triple murder in 1979 involving two men and a woman who were shot and beheaded on Detroit's east side. He was actually suspected in 15 murders, but only convicted of those beheadings.

After 15 years, he was released from prison on a technicality in court.

Now, at 71, Usher is in trouble again.

Frank Usher's Southfield home

Ron Savage of Fox 2 reports that ATF agents and  Wayne County Sheriff's deputies arrested him Thursday at his Southfield home on accusations that he sold heroin to undercover federal agents.

Authorities raided his Southfield home and a residence at St. Aubin and E. McNichols where he is accused of selling heroin with other people.
