Here's a story the tabloid papers and TV shows may drool over.

Taryn Asher of Fox 2 reports that a 16-year-old Wyandotte girl faked a pregnancy for 10 months with the help of a website, fakebaby.com. Wyandotte Police are now looking into the matter to see if anything criminal is involved.

Fox 2 reports that the teen old family, friends, her boyfriend and strangers that she was pregnant with triplets.

And she used an ultrasound photo from the website, fakebaby.com., Asher reports. Her belly also began to grow.

She took thousands of dollars in donations from a church in Taylor, a non-profit in Dearborn and a Facebook group that she joined called "Moms of triplets," Fox 2 reports. Last May, relatives even threw a baby shower for the mother who had already named the babies.

Her boyfriend Jordan told Fox 2 said he was duped and had no clue it was all a hoax. He said he was preparing to get a job and commit to this new family. Amusingly, during an interview with Fox 2, he wore a t-shirt that said: "it seemed like a good idea at the time."

When the teen girl went past 9 months without delivering the babies, people got suspicious.

Her boyfriend told Fox 2 that his girlfriend explained away the late delivery, saying the babies were premature and the doctors thought it would be best for them to stay in her womb rather than be put in incubators. Additionally, a woman in Ohio who who was on the Facebook page for triplets for moms, let it be known that the the ultrasound was from the fakebaby.com website.

Krissy Wyrabkiewicz, the boyfriend's mother, told Fox 2 she got suspicious at some point when she couldn't find the doctor the teen said she was going to, and her son was never allowed to go with her to doctor visits.

Eventually, the teen was supposed to have a C-section, but she said she lost the babies and refused to go to the doctor.

That's when Jordan's aunt told police that the teen had dead babies in her womb and refused to see a doctor. The aunt tells Fox 2 that the teen confessed to detectives that she lost the babies at 6 weeks.

The teen's brother tells Fox 2 that his sister was pregnant but "lost the baby at six weeks" and was scared and didn't know what to do, so she continued to pretend she was pregnant.  He said she planned to return all the donated money.
