Belle Isle, a 982-acre park, has never really been given credit for being a world class park. Those familiar with the park know better. After all, Belle Isle literally means "beautiful island."
This three-minute drone video, posted this weekend on YouTube, brings home that beauty. It's worth a watch.
The videographer, a cable TV technician who has other drone videos at his YouTube channel, says in a Reddit thread that he shot the footage between noon and 3 p.m. last Thursday and Friday.
