Note to parole officer: In case you hadn't noticed, saying dumb things at the new Batman film could be misconstrued. Really.
The Free Press reports that a Michigan Department of Corrections parole officer has been suspended with pay after he made a threatening remark while buying tickets for the film "The Dark Knight Rises" last weekend at the Royal Oak Emagine Theater.
The man, who supervises parolees at the Macomb MDOC office, told the ticket seller: “If I don’t get good seats, I’m going to shank somebody.” That prompted the ticket seller to call police.
Police did not arrest him, but he was suspended on Wednesday and corrections officials said the incident is under review. The Freep did not publish his name.
