On Thanksgiving evening, after bellies were stuffed, a couple hundred folks gathered Thanksgiving night at Jack White's Third Man Records shop at 441 Canfield St. in Midtown for a pre-opening party.
The shop opened Friday.
On Thursday night, there was booze and bands. The party was invite-only. Outside, some people camped out on Canfield so they could be the first to walk inside on Friday for the opening.
Guests included comedian Keegan-Michael Key, who's from this area.
Entertainment included country singer Margo Price, who Rolling Stone described as a fixture of the East Nashville music community. She has signed with Jack White's Third Man Records to release her debut album in March.
The invite called for a party from 7-10 p.m., but festivities went well beyond midnight.
