M-1 Rail
A report in Crain's Detroit Business suggests the new name of the M-1 Rail in Detroit could be "RocketRail."
Dan Gilbert's Quicken Loans Inc. trademarked the name "RocketRail" last week after postponing an announcement of the name, Robert Snell and Kirk Pinho of Crain's Detroit Business report.
The Dec. 3 filing says RocketRrail involves "transportation of passengers via rail."
There's has been no official confirmation of the name.
Gilbert last spring created Rocket Fiber to provide Internet and cable service in Detroit and eventually beyond, and last month launched an online home loan application called Rocket Mortgage.
