Metro Detroit can always use more 24-hour eating spots.

The Daily Dinette, a 24-hour burger/breakfast joint, is expected to launch a soft opening this week at 280 W. Nine Mile Rd. in Ferndale, possibly Wednesday, the restaurant tells Deadline Detroit.

Kramer Restaurant Group, operators of One-Eyed Betty's in Ferndale, is opening the dinette and plans to launch Pop's for Italian later in the same building, Eater Detroit reports.

The restaurants will share a 10,000-square-foot space previously occupied by Buffalo Wild Wings and Twisted Shamrock, Brenna Houck of Eater reports. Both venues are connected by an indoor pedestrian alley running north to south along the side of the building.

The dinette's site says it will make donuts and English muffins, and serve locally sourced eggs, sausage patties, beef ground fresh daily and fresh-cut fries.
