Fox 2's decision to cut Murray Feldman, Jason Carr and Lee Thomas is upsetting to colleagues at the Southfield station.

No one at the station has spoken out publicly until now.

Star anchor Huel Perkins is unhappy and lets it be known on his Facebook page Tuesday evening.

We are all shocked, confused, and angry at the planned departure of our Fox-2 broadcast brothers, Murray Feldman, Lee Thomas and Jason Carr.

The reasons are still unclear and the transition will not be immediate. But, we want the world to know that these are reporters of the highest honor and integrity. They also happen to be some of the kindest people you'll ever meet.

We love them and respect them. No matter what happens next, no matter where they go, they will always be members of the Fox-2 family!

Taryn Asher, a Fox 2 reporter married to Carr, tweets "Huge loss," with a link to Perkins' post.

Deadline Detroit first reported late Monday that Carr and Thomas are being cut. Crain's Detroit Business reported earlier that Feldman was leaving.
