Vice Presidential candidate Mike Pence reminded voters in western Michigan on Thursday that U.S. Supreme Court is likely to be one of the prizes of this year's presidential election.
Speaking in Walker, a suburb of Grand Rapids, Pence vowed that Donald Trump will focus on appointing Supreme Court justices who will overturn decades of Roe v. Wade, according to a report by Chad Livengood and Christine Ferretti.
“If we appoint strict constructionists to the Supreme Court as Donald Trump intends to do, I believe we will see Roe v. Wade consigned to the ash heap of history where it belongs,” Pence said during a town hall-style event at the DeltaPlex .
