Comedian Dave Chappelle came to Detroit Sunday night for a gig at the Fillmore Theater on Woodward Avenue and he had a few things to say about Detroit including ex-Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.

MLive reported that he remarked about Kilpatrick:

"Whatever happened to my man Kwame Kilpatrick? Last time I was here, I talked to that dude and he was cool as (expletive), and I didn't even know he was mayor. He liked those sexy text messages. I don't care, I come from Washington D.C. where our mayor (Marion Barry) smoked crack rocks."

On the crowd on Sunday night, he said:

"Detroit has more black people than any other city in the U.S., and 30 of them showed up tonight. But I see parts of Ireland and Italy represented."

On the local celeb scene, he said:

"You know, Kid Rock is from here. I would brag about Eminem a little bit more. I haven't seen Kid Rock in a movie, but that Eminem movie ("8 Mile") will get you amped. You even had black people rooting for Eminem."
