February 13, 2013, 2:15 PM

While Michigan State Police homicide investigators work to solve the mystery of who shot Jennifer Ann Scavone on I-75 early Saturday as she drove home from work in Greektown, family members, co-workers and friends post tributes to the 32-year-old Sterling Heights mother of four.

Scavone's "smile that lit up any room" and her devotion to family are mentioned repeatedly at a public memorial page hosted by Wujek & Calcaterra & Sons funeral home, site of a Saturday morning funeral in Sterling Heights.

"She wasn't the type of girl that would ignore you or be mean if you weren't the coolest or most popular," recalls middle school classmate Lisa Lynn of Roseville. Others mention "the love you had for your children" and that she "was there for me when I needed."

A state courtesy patrol driver found Scavone inside her bullet-riddled GMC Yukon SUV with the engine idling about 3:40 a.m. Saturday on northbound I-75 near Mack. "The investigation is moving along,” Lt. Michael Shaw of the state police said early this week.
