Detroiters can't get enough love.
So when they hear an actor talk with affection about the city, well, Detroiters love it.
Ryan Gosling, 32, who plans to film his upcoming movie "To Catch a Monster" here in the Motor City, and who has been spotted repeatedly around town, tells Fox2:
"I just fell in love with Detroit. It’s an incredible city, and there’s just something about the people there that I found really inspiring.
"And there's a kind of lack of cynicism that is in the heart of some of the characters in the film. So it felt like important to shoot it there."
As for opportunities for actors, he says: "We're definitely to be casting locally."
His latest movie "The Place Beyond the Pines" debuted this past weekend.
