A 22-year-old mother of two toddlers engaged in a little insanity the other day.
WDIV's Mara MacDonald reports that the mother, with her 1- and 2-year-old in the back seat, led police on a high-speed chase Wednesday morning in her white Dodge Durango through four northern Oakland County communities -- Orchard Lake, Sylvan Lake, Keego Harbor and West Bloomfield
.
The woman crashed into a patrol car and finally pulled over after reaching speeds of about 80 mph, according to the Keego Harbor police. She stepped out of the SUV and got into a physical confrontation before finally getting arrested. The kids were unharmed, just shaken up.
She is expected to be arraigned Thursday.
The chase began after she fled the scene of a wreck in Keego Harbor, WDIV reports.
WDIV reported that it's not clear why she went on this erratic chase, but that she had a fight with her husband.
