Flames rose above the roof of a three-story downtown Detroit commercial building Wednesday morning before firefighters contained the two-alarm fire.

The Grind nightclub at Griswold and Grand River is heavily damaged.

The building at Griswold and Grand River Avenue houses The Grind "gentlemen's club" (aka titty bar) and is across the street from the Urban Bean coffee shop and Cafe D'Mongo's Speakeasy.

No injuries were reported, according to WXYZ and Fox 2.

Grand River is closed to traffic between Washington Boulevard and Woodward.

At Fox 2, Roop Raj says the fire broke out on the first floor before 6 a.m. and quickly spread to the third floor before breaching the roof.

Tenants were evacuated from a neighboring apartment complex, Fox reports.
