North Farmington High School student Jena Irene is still hanging in there on "American Idol."
Gary Graff of the Oakland Press reports that the 17-year-old singer is one of the last eight contestants standing after going through 80s Week.
Graff notes that she’s assured a spot on the American Idols Live! summer tour.
“I thought I could sing, but not be as creative under the amount of stress and the amount of work we have to do,” Irene said, post-lunch from Los Angeles, Graff reports.
