Law enforcement continues moving forward in prosecuting those accused in the brutal beating of motorist Steven Utash.

WWJ reports that a $400,000 bond was set Saturday for Courtney Robinson, 16, who is accused of throwing the first punch. He faces charges of assault and ethnic intimidation.

Robinson was arraigned at the Wayne County Juvenile Detention Center.

“What actually occurred was the savage beating of an innocent man,” Prosecutor Matthew Penney said, according to WWJ's Kathryn Larson.  “By his own admission, he was one of the first to throw punches.”

The arraignment came one day after Utash came out of his coma.
