Detroit's bankruptcy proceedings will get an injection of local stardom in July when some notables testify during the trial to determine whether U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Steven Rhodes approves Detroit’s plan to shed debt and restructure city operations and finances, the Detroit News reports.
Robert Snell of the News reports that the list of witnesses will include Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr, Mayor Mike Duggan, Quicken Loans founder Dan Gilbert and businessman Roger Penske.
