It wasn't just another homicide in the city.
This one stood out.
WWJ reports that police are investigating the homicide of a 31-year-old woman who was found dead inside her Detroit west side home in the 4000 block of Hazelwood Street near I-96 and Joy Road. Her 8-month-old daughter was found inside the house suffering from dehydration. She was taken to the hospital where she was listed in critical condition.
Fox 2 identified the victim as Charmanek Johnson,
WWJ reports that the woman's mother came by to check on her because she hadn't been able to reach her since Thursday.
