New York Mayor Ed Koch used to go about town asking citizens: "How'm I doin?"

Mayor Mike Duggan has found a way to show how he's doin.

The city announced Monday a new website called "Detroit Dashboard" that will show the progress being made to upgrade the city. The website will  be updated each week.

A press release states:

"You'll see many Detroit services by-the-numbers: How many LED street lights were installed last week in our neighborhoods?  How many vacant lots did we mow? How many blighted homes did we remove?  You'll also be able to follow the links for more information on these initiatives, as well as see the community based programming the city has to offer in the weeks ahead."
