Fox 2 anchor Deena Centofanti grabbed impromptu hair protection Tuesday morning for a dash outside the Southfield station during light rain. She posed gamely when spotted by reporter Charlie LeDuff and another colleague, who snapped a shot the newswoman tweeted:

Centofanti, 47, joined WJBK (Fox 2) in 1997 as an anchor and reporter. She grew up in a Cleveland suburb and studied broadcast journalism at Miami University in Ohio. Her career began at stations in Columbus and Steubenville, Ohio.
She and her husband, Keith, live in Orion Township with their three children.
