With the start of the holiday shopping comes a bite of real winter.
The northern suburbs of Detroit -- Macomb and Oakland County, along with Washtenaw, St. Clair and Livinggston County -- can expect two to six inches of snow Monday and are under a winter weather advisory until 3 p.m.
Areas north of M-59 are under a winter storm warning until 3 p.m. and can expect five to eight inches and blowing snow most of the day, the station reports.
Detroit, where it's raining Monday morning, is expected to get off easy with an inch or two of snow.
