Video: Did You Watch the Golden Butthole Fall on New Year's Eve?

January 01, 2020, 4:47 PM

Those kidders behind the stream of videos on the "Golden Butthole" were at it again -- this time for New Year's Eve.

Instead of a ball dropping in New York's Times Square, advertising guys Andrew Kozinski, Kyle Martin Duda and Douglas Everhart created a mock video showing the Golden Butthole sliding down an imaginary pylon to ring in 2020.

The Golden Butthole is their mocking name for a $180,000 Sterling Heights municipal sculpture of a golden ring on Hall Road since last January. It's intended to brand a stretch of M-59 as the "Golden Corridor."
