Cut loose in the cold, abusive Shelby Township boyfriend resorts to stealing snowplow, police say

Just in time for Valentine's Day, a Shelby Township teen has been charged with assaulting his girlfriend and stealing a snowplow after she kicked him out of her car in the cold.

WDIV reports 18-year-old Mario Nikprelaj was shoeless and shirtless when he hopped in the running plow and took off Monday, "caring little about what he ran over."

But the joyride was short. The plow had a video camera and GPS tracker, and police say they caught up with Nikprelaj in Sterling Heights. The teen, already pon probation, faces multiple new charges.
