If you've ever dreamed of owning your own provider of dill pickle soup, pierogi and golabki, now's your chance to pick up a turnkey Polish restaurant in the heart of the old neighborhood.

Polonia Restaurant on Yemans Street in Hamtramck is up for sale, the Detroit Free Press reports. Asking price: $450,000.

Polonia is known for its traditional Polish dishes, and seller John Zurowski would love for it to continue as a shrine to Hamtramck's culinary heritage. It sits across the parking lot from Polish Village, a similar eatery. Susan Selasky writes:

It's Zurowski's wish, according to the (real estate sales) flyer, to sell to someone who will continue the restaurant and its original Polish recipes. He is also willing to train and stay on to do so.

Highlights, according to the listing, is that all inventory, equipment, liquor license, and a full-size delivery van is included in the asking price.

Polonia’s also has a catering business and banquet hall for private and corporate events. According to its website, inside the inside walls are (covered) with art by Polish artists and other Polish artifacts.
