Detroit T-shirt king Tommey Walker has COVID-19 covered

March 21, 2020, 7:03 AM

It took just days for this inevitability to roll off the silkscreen presses.

Tommey Walker, the hometown entrepreneur who brought us Detroit vs. Everybody garments in 2012, adapts his iconic brand for the time of virus, when it's all of us against a disease.

The shirts at right is $34.99 and hoodies are $59.99 at his business site, but not in his store alongside Eastern Market.

Twenty percent of proceeds benefit TechTown's Detroit Small Business Stabilization Fund, which will provide grants of up to $5,000 to small businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

"This is to remind us that it's everybody against the virus, rather than everybody against each other," Walker says in a release
