Two Metro Detroit Malls Reopen Thursday

Two Metro Detroit malls say they’ll reopen some stores beginning Thursday after a nearly two-month hiatus due to the coronavirus.

Great Lakes Crossing of Auburn Hills and Twelve Oaks of Novi — both owned by international investment firm Taubman — announced their plans Tuesday as Gov. Gretchen Whitmer allowed stores to reopen by appointment and for up to 10 shoppers at a time.

Taubman says staff will clean the centers throughout the day, encourage social distancing and mask-wearing and close off play structures and seating areas.

These Great Lakes Crossing outlets will reopen for pre-orders and curb pickup:
