Gallery: There's Still Room for Woodwarding in the Covid Era

July 19, 2020, 10:30 AM by  Michael Lucido

On a Saturday night, in the Covid era with not much else to do, people congregate along Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak and Berkley to watch cars go by and chat. Some bring out their vintage cars.

In previous years, even before the pandemic, people gathered on Woodward in the weeks leading up to the Woodward Dream Cruise. This year the Aug. 15 event has been canceled because of the pandemic.

Nonetheless, on the day of the Dream Cruise, people will be out in full force, vintage cars and all. Count on it.
