A young man and woman were shot early Wednesday after their car broke down in Southwest Detroit, police say.
It happened around 2 a.m. on Livernois just south of Michigan Avenue. The man, 26, was in serious condition at the hospital but expected to survive. The woman, 23, was grazed and treated at the scene.
Police have not yet identified a suspect. The gunman is said to be Hispanic or Arabic and was wearing a gray jogging suit. He approached the pair on foot.
