Recent daily Covid cases in Michigan continued to show declines over December, but still remain high.
The state reported 1,601 new cases Saturday and 221 deaths -- including 205 earlier ones.
The state has now recorded a total of 548,069 cases, including 463,106 classified as recovered (84.5%). Fatalities since March total 14,291 as of Saturday.
The nation has tallied over 25.5 million cases and more than 427,600 deaths. More than 15 million people have recovered.
