The normal college admissions process has been upended somewhat by Covid, and there's been a decline in minority applicants at colleges nationwide.

A college counselor for 36 years, Patrick has written five books on counseling, including the college guide, "College is Yours 2.0," and is a past president of the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
