Hollywood just dropped another two minutes of footage from its upcoming take on Aretha Franklin's life.

Captioned "To become the Queen, she needed to find her voice," the new "Respect" trailer shows the developing songstress, played by Jennifer Hudson, creating one of her first hits.

The MGM film is due out Aug. 13 following pandemic-related delays. Audra McDonald and Forest Whitaker are cast as the singer's parents. Skye Dakota Turner, now 12, is in this clip as young Aretha.

The production lacks support from family members, the late singer's son has said, because the studio failed to adequately engage them in production.
