Good news for Michigan journalists, business leaders and politicians who enjoy a good hobnob with people who the public may prefer they don't hobnob with: The Mackinac Policy Conference is back on.
After its 2020 cancellation, the annual event returns to the Grand Hotel from Sept. 20-23. It's expected to be more sparse than usual, with capacity reduced by 30 percent, and will allow only vaccinated attendees. Tickets run $3,100 for those who aren't members of the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce.
No word yet on whether ethical distancing requirements will allow another one of these:
