Deadline Detroit's Craig Fahle, a political junkie who stayed home this year, catches up on Day 2 with Detroit Free Press editorial writer Nancy Kaffer who is attending the Regional Chamber's 2021 Mackinac Policy Conference at the Grand Hotel.
The two talk about some of the speakers including Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan and the annual debate over the value of the conference for both attendees and the media. Unlike previous years, Duggan did not give a formal address, and instead answered questions about development in Detroit and introduced a new city planner.
The conference runs through Thursday.
