Some Metro Detroit restaurants are forced to curtail hours because of the ongoing worker shortage. But in Madison Heights, management at Noodle Topia has turned to using two robots - Bella and Hola -- to help deliver food and clean tables, Fox 2 reports.

"It helps a lot with the shortage of the employees for sure," the owner Lee Zhai tells Fox 2. "This one is delivering the food to each table."

And the robot, Hola, is programmed to help clean.

"Like busboy clear the dishes trash, and once it clears a table it goes back to the dishwashing machine and the trash can," said Zhai.

It costs about $800 a month to lease a robot.
