Oxford shooter Ethan Crumbley is in a solo cell in the Oakland County Jail and gets “daily consults” with mental health professionals, The Detroit News reports. He also has Zoom sessions with his attorneys and guardian.

Reporter Mike Martindale provides a glimpse into the life of the 15-year-old as he awaits trial on charges of killing four fellow students and wounding six others and a teacher.

The teen is under direct around-the-clock observation by a deputy and can leave his cell for a daily shower, call or virtual visits. Meals are delivered on a tray to his cell.

“He’s housed in a single cell and isolated from other inmates,” Undersheriff Curtis D. Childs tells the paper. “He’s not on suicide watch. He’s on a constant watch.”
