A four-year-old lingerie retailer founded by singer and fashion designer Rihanna is coming to downtown.

This city is among sites listed in a planned expansion by Savage X Fenty, a California-based business that spread to Las Vegas in January and Houston in March. Its Detroit its branch will be at the corner of Woodward and John R in a Bedrock-owned building on the Shinola Hotel block, Crain's Detroit Business reports.

No timetable is given.

"The brand celebrates fearlessness, confidence and inclusivity," its site says. "Savage X Fenty has something for every mood, every vibe and every body. ... You don't need clothes, just dope af lingerie."

It sells bras, bikinis, slips, pajamas, panties, loungewear and bodysuits, including some men's items.

Other locations are in Culver City, Calif.; Arlington, Va.; and King of Prussia, Pa. Growth plans call for openings in Chicago, Atlanta, St. Louis, Newark and Long Island, N.Y., according to Crain's.
