A quaint Midtown Detroit boutique hotel, Inn on Ferry Street, will reopen under new ownership after closing for more than two years during the Covid pandemic, Crain's Detroit Business reports.
The collection of Victorian mansions and a carriage house at 84 E. Ferry Street -- a short walk from the Detroit Institute of Arts, main library and Wright Museum -- now is owned by Midtown Detroit, Inc. and the DIA.
Susan Mosey, executive director of Midtown Detroit, tells Crain's she hopes to finalize the sale in about 30 days, followed by a summer reopening. New York City-based Life House Hotels is expected to operate the property.
