Seth Meyers Tuesday night

NBC's Late Night host Seth Meyers made a little joke Tuesday night during his monologue about Detroit-based Little Caesars Pizza and its latest venture, delivering full family meals in minutes with Flytrex's new Sky2 drones.

"The pizza chain Lirttle Caesars has partnered with the company Flytrex to offer drone delivery," Meyers said. "And in a related story, Iran just surrendered. They would have been fine... if it was just pizza. But the fact it was pizza pizza."

OK, it wasn't funniest shtick in the monologue.

But we appreciate the attempt.

By the way, as of Sunday, the Little Caesars in Wylie, Texas, a Dallas suburb, was the only franchise store offering the drone service, according to USA Today.

For customers within a four-mile radius, the Flytrex drones can deliver up to two large pizzas, select sides and sodas in roughly 4 1/2 minutes after the pizzas come out of the oven, according to the article.
